I was born and raised on Cape Cod. These environs are a part of me. I love where I live and feel grateful every day to be a part of such a special place. I am passionate about nature. Through gardening and landscape design, I have found my perfect vocation. My early years of college studies in liberal arts gave way to coastal zone management and landscape design studies. From there I never looked back.

I started Bedworks Design in 2002. Today, as Bedworks Design moves ahead, I am fortunate to have my husband and business partner leading along with me. John brings his years of business acumen and experience to make Bedworks Design even better.

Through my years of experience, I have developed an approach that enables me to build a clientele that has grown and stayed with me for years. My design philosophy is anchored by the belief that the natural world has a predetermined path and if observed and respected it will give us back incredible gifts. Based on this, I take the time to understand what the landscape is calling for and what are the natural rhythms of a property.

I have an amazing team of talented gardeners. Many of my past team members have gone on to create their own successful landscape companies. I am proud to share what I know and honored to work with a team that shares my passion.

Vinegrass Organization

The Vinegrass Organization is a not-for-profit music production company that produces concerts, camps, workshops and The Vinegrass Music Festival, in order to raise money to provide scholarships to students studying music at an accredited four year university. In addition to the scholarships, the organization will subsidize camps and workshops, as well as provide instruments to younger students in need. The Vinegrass Organization awards an annual grant to an artist or band in the Rhythm & Roots genre with preference to a Cape Cod band/artist. Please join Bedworks Design to support this special organization in support of the Arts and youth musical programs.

Monomoy Community Services

Chatham is a special place because of the individuals, parents, and children who live and work here year round. For over four decades, Monomoy Community Services has diligently supported them with quality resources— childcare for working families, counseling referral services, financial assistance, and community special events. Monomoy is a private, not for profit agency. Each year they rely on fundraising and contributions to help meet the expenses for approximately one third of the budget.
